Ethan is at 5'10" 2017 catcher with an athletic build, he showed quickness and above average ability to catch the ball and throw it, his arm was slightly behind his actions as an average arm, but one with potential to be above avg. His pop times during the workout were between 2.18 and 2.34, and an in-game throw at 2.19.  Ethan can block the ball well in the games and has soft hands and a nice set up. His BP swings were flat with solid swing path he did not have much of a load and he did not use his legs during his swing much. Ethan stroked a triple during the game and had a couple ground balls mixed in. As a 2017 grad Ethan should jump up on the radar as a strong defender once he builds up more strength in both his arm and his lower half.
